LMRC-Alstom Metro Maintenance Simulators Ready for Use

Alstom Transport India Limited (ATIL), Bangalore, a subsidiary of Alstom headquartered in France, awarded C.C Engineers a contract for the development of simulators for the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) project. Lucknow Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh - construction began on 27 September 2014 with the 8.5 km stretch from Transport Nagar to Charbagh Railway Station, and commercial operation began on 5 September 2017, making it the fastest built metro rail system in the country. Full operation on the Red Line from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport metro station to Munshi Pulia metro station began on 9 March 2019. The simulators are used for training drivers and maintenance staff at the training centre housed in the LMRC depot in Lucknow.
